1. Running into and old "friend" from high school (the person you were nice to but never really liked). Or you could change this story to running into an ex and having them be doing really well with a significant other.
2. Setting two people up on a blind date and realizing you set your friend up with the person you are in love with.
3. Meeting a relative you didn't know you had or thought was dead on an airplane.
4. The search for finding a wedding dress and planning a wedding later in life.

ReplyDeleteI love all of your ideas! They are all very intriguing, however I love your second idea! Perhaps you set a good friend of the opposite sex up with a friend, then once they are happy realize that you want them yourself? I think it's a wonderful idea and would make for an interesting storyline!

ReplyDeleteAll of these ideas are great, but my favorite is number four (partially because you are engaged and planning a wedding yourself! Lol.). I think it would be really fun and entertaining to read about a story involving a wedding. You can do so much with this story idea: you can make it dramatic, serious, uplifting, fun, etc. I believe that since you are in the "wedding stage" of life, you would make a great author for a short story along the lines of this topic! :)
